Located inside the Central Basin and Range, the Silver Peak Lithium mine is surrounded by a series of mountain ranges with extensive vegetation. The Central Basin and Range region experiences mantle upwelling, and in response to the heat, the plate rises and falls, creating a series of mountains and valleys. The annual rainfall of this area exhibits 4-5 inches.
